The result is an ultra smooth and phenomenal tasting agave spirit. \nRye Whiskey\n– While we are making bourbon now\, and have barrels aging\, the whiskey process takes several years of aging to perfect this delicious brown liquid. We are looking forward to releasing out whiskey\, but until then\, we’ve purchased several barrels from Indiana\, for blending cutting and bottling right here in Centreville MD. DESCRIPTION:The walk begins in front of the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum and makes its way through around the St. Michaels harbor and around St. Michaels historic downtown. Visit an old cemetery and hear stories about St. Mary’s Square where ghosts of unremembered dead once haunted a school that was on the Square.  Visit the Victoriana Inn where a spirit of a former guest is still trying to pay his bill. Learn about the ghost in St. Michaels Town Hall\, the house of a steamboat captain and a site that was once a brothel is said to still be “active.”  The walk is about 1.5 miles and lasts about an hour and a half. \n  \nMEETING PLACE: Meet 15 minutes before the start of the tour in front of the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum entrance. \nTIME & WEATHER: Ghost Walk begins on time. We walk in all kinds of weather except heavy rain and thunder storms.  Dress for the weather and be aware that each ghost walk takes at least an hour and covers between 1 and 1.5 miles. \n\nBring your umbrella if it looks like rain.\nWear comfortable shoes.\nBring a flashlight.\nBring a camera.  That’s part of the fun.\n\nVisit  (chesapeakeghosts.com) to explore more haunted areas all over the eastern shore!

Crab-picking and oyster-shucking contests are scheduled at 4:00 p.m. Professional and amateur pickers and shuckers will be featured. \nThe Tilghman Island Watermen’s Museum is a must see\, sharing the history\, traditions\, heritage\, and culture of Tilghman Island. \nNo visit to Tilghman Island is complete without an opportunity to sample fresh\, local seafood. Visitors can choose from raw and steamed oysters\, oyster stew\, oyster fritters\, steamed crabs\, crab cakes\, crab soup\, soft crabs and fried clams\, along with BBQ chicken\, hot dogs\, hamburgers\, French fries\, cold beer\, and soft drinks. The Sea Witch Festival is Friday through Sunday\, Oct. 27-29\, 2023. \nSea Witch Festival Activities\nAll through downtown Rehoboth\, and at local businesses\, you can take part in an array of free activities during the Sea Witch Festival. \nTrick-or-treat in downtown Rehoboth and Dewey Beach\, watch a classic horror film at the Rehoboth Beach Museum\, visit the Kid’s Zone at First Street Station\, go on a scavenger hunt and so much more. \nSea Witch Festival Costume Parade\nThe Sea Witch Festival kicks off with the Sea Witch Balloon and Clipper Ship. Following this headlining float will be hundreds of people\, dressed in costume\, walking the parade\, as well as motorized floats. The parade will follow Rehoboth Avenue. Those interested in watching the parade are advised to arrive before the 9 a.m. start time. \nCostumed Dog Parade\nThe pups have their own Halloween celebration on Sunday with the Costumed Dog Parade. Starting from the north end of the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk\, pet owners and their dogs can come dressed to walk down the boardwalk. \nSea Witch 5K Classic Run and One Mile Fright Walk\nOn Sunday\, take part in the Sea Witch Festival 5K Run and One Mile Fright Walk. There will be over 500 runners dressed in costume to race down Rehoboth Avenue. Prizes will be awarded for running the fastest time and having the best costume. \nVendors\nThis year’s Sea Witch Festival will have an expanded artisan and vendor area in the Convention Center. From 1–6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m.–5 p.m. on Sunday. Browse over 30 vendors showcasing and selling their handmade products and goods. \nKid’s Corner\nThe Convention Center will also feature the Kid’s Corner all weekend long. Each day of the festival\, children can enjoy fun Halloween-themed activities\, including Spooky Science Fun\, trick-or-treat bag decorating\, magic shows\, monster art and more. \nLive Music\nThere will be live music at the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand for all three days of the Sea Witch Festival. Several bands and artists will be performing an array of musical genres in free concerts that are perfect for the whole family. \nGetting to the Sea Witch Festival\nPublic transportation will be available for those attending the Sea Witch Festival. \nIf you’re traveling form the south\, use the Jolly Trolley. Free parking will be available at the pick-up and drop off locations at Tower Road and Delaware Seashore State Park. The Jolly Trolley is $3 for adult and $1 for kids under 5 one way. \nIf you’re coming from the north\, park at one of the DART Park & Ride locations for free and take the dart for $2 one way or $4.20 for a full-day pass. \nParking\nParking is not recommended on Rehoboth Avenue. Crowd control fencing will be in place Saturday\, Oct. 26\, before the festival. Parking will be available on the side streets.

The event often introduces many visitors to the area for the first time and many come back again to visit or to stay. Volunteers\, donors\, sponsors\, and staff carry on not just an autumn event\, but a treasured Talbot County tradition. \nBusinesses\, too\, are generous in their support of the non-profit Waterfowl Festival organization.
