DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendar and plan to join us for Oxford Day\, April 27\, 2024. \nOne of our most treasured events will begin at 8:30 – the Blessing of the Pets\, followed by the Talbot Humane Dog Walk which finishes at Town Park for the annual Dog Show. \nParade Route\nA Family Hour of fun games for all ages will happen 9:00-10:00 in Town Park near the swings. \nYou may enjoy bake sales and Oxford Museum Opening Day. \nThe Parade starts at 11 and marches right along Morris Street with an assortment of floats\, fire engines\, bands\, old cars\, walkers and animals—it’s always uniquely Oxford! \nPlan to relax\, walk about\, keep social distance\, and enjoy the day. \nIf you want to experience Oxford from the water\, visit the  Oxford Bellevue Ferry which has been in existence since 1683! The Oxford Ferry will welcome free walk-on passengers (one roundtrip per person) through mid-afternoon! \nOxford Bellevue Ferry\nYour hunger can be satisfied at many venues around town including\, of course\, our fine restaurants\, and also booths in Town Park and Causeway Park\, our churches and the Oxford Market. \nThere will be designated parking areas. \nBe aware that Morris Street and some side streets close to traffic before and during the Parade\, from about 9:30-noon. Allow extra time to reach Oxford boatyards and for moving about town. Residents should plan their days with the expectation of delays in driving. \nHistoric St. Paul’s Wesleyan Church On Morris Street\nFor a brief introduction to Oxford Day\, you are invited to watch this video. SUMMARY:Garden Mosaic Mushrooms Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Mosaic Mushrooms!\n\nSaturday\, April 27th 10am-2pm\n\n10 South Hanson St\, Easton\, Md\n\n$125\n\nMosaic a 3-D mushroom sculpture using stained glass\, ceramics\, mirror\, beads and agates found in my 5 room studio in Easton! No Experience necessary! Mushrooms stand 18” tall and are created out of durable outdoor materials. Perfect for a fun spot inside your house or outside in a garden area! We cover design skills\, breaking techniques and adhering. Projects will be grouted any color by instructors and picked up at a later date. Bring food and beverages to suit your needs! You must be registered in advance to attend.
