Events
For art enthusiasts, there are many annual events--some nationally renowned--to enjoy. From the Waterfowl Festival in November to Plein Air in July and some new smaller festivals such as the Sea Glass Festival held in April, artisans will appreciate these showcase events as they take time to visit local galleries and museums as well.
The Waterfowl Festival
Typically held the second weekend in November, this is the Eastern Shore`s signature event. This family-friendly weekend includes a variety of activities from art collections, decoy carvings, goose calling contests, wine and food and retriever demonstrations.

Plein Air Festival
Plein Air Easton is the largest and most prestigious juried plein air painting competition in the United States. Plein Air Easton is at the center of the modern plein air movement. Easton is making history and the work produced here has importance beyond the daily joy of seeing original artwork in your home.
